The IDEAL Distance and Blended Learning Handbook, 7th edition, published in September, 2020, is a product of the EdTech Center at World Education, Inc., and the Innovating Distance Education in Adult Learning (IDEAL) Consortium. The IDEAL Consortium, which was founded as Project IDEAL in 2002, has been hosted by World Education since 2015. The IDEAL Consortium offers professional development, technical support, and networking opportunities to its seventeen member states as they lay the foundation for high quality and innovative distance and blended learning opportunities for adult education programs and their learners.
