The Prosperity Agenda (TPA) is a nonprofit organization that focuses on an equitable two-generation approach to financial education which is strength-based and community-led. From 2016 to 2019, with support from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, TPA collaborated with the Washington State Department of Commerce, which manages the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) programs, and 330 parents throughout the state, to develop, pilot, and implement the Money Powerup Packs materials and event kits. They evaluated the Money Powerup Packs impact, including an article in The Journal of Participatory Research Methods.
