- Digital skills building materials in downloadable Microsoft Word or Excel formats with hyperlinks to online resources
- Student folders with chapter instructions and downloadable lessons and online resources for each of the digital library chapters: Computer Basics, Internet Basics & Cyber Safety, Introduction to Email, Introduction to Microsoft Word, Introduction to Excel, Online Job Search, and Resume Writing
- Career Self-Assessment Activity, which has learners rate the importance of workplace values, interests, and personality as well as their technical and interpersonal skills
- Activities, self-assessments, rubrics, and examples of online documents, such as resumes
- Each module is available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese

The Digital Literacy Toolkit was designed for adult educators by the Texas Center for the Advancement of Literacy & Learning at Texas A&M University. The toolkit was also published by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission to its website in 2017. The toolkit was funded by a grant from the Texas Workforce Commission to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
